So, the OP said that being a Republican causes you to commit terrible crimes. But, you've just provided new evidence that being a Democrat causes you to commit terrible crimes... Wow... if I didn't know better, I'd say that being a sicko causes you to commit terrible crimes, and politics has absolutely nothing to do with it. But then, I'm sure that's just what the liberals want me to think. Er, wait, maybe that's what conservatives want me to think. Aw, jeez - I'm so confused

All Mrs. M is presenting here is that the OP's claim that the places where these crimes happened were bastions of "conservatism" was factually wrong. Quote:
The only poster in this thread who is asking you to believe that there is a correlation between political affiliation and horrific crimes is the OP. And we all know the OP cannot be taken seriously on pretty much any topic. This thread is simply further proof of his inability to reason. Matt

Re: Why Does It Happen There?
This thread is about politics on the STATE LEVEL, not on a County Level. Please try to stay on topic people.

Your OP mentioned Bush and the '04 election, thereby opening it up. If you didn't want it discussed, you shouldn't have mentioned it. You gave six examples. That's hardly sufficient to prove your suspicion that there's any correlation whatsoever...

Re: Why Does It Happen There?
Good grief, ajax! Even a simple mind can figure out that the OP is ridiculous! Sick people live in every state and politics plays no part in the how's and why's of murder. But since you insist that the problems are political and at the state level, please explain why the murders occurred in conservative states in liberal counties or parishes?

Re: Why Does It Happen There?
The people were sick and tired of being surrounded by the extravagant excesses of the Republicans around them. The pent up frustration caused them to do these terrible things. I'm not a psychologist though. It could be that the people are sick bastards sometimes.

Trying to blame the commission of crimes on the fact that one political party or another is in office is among the most retarded I've seen; gotta' be in the top three, I think. If what you say is true, crime would drop to a statistically non-existent level when Democrats win. Can you provide anything that demonstrates that? No... didn't think so...

I often lose sight of the fact that, around here, "common sense" isn't as "common" as it should be...

Re: Why Does It Happen There?
That's kind of the point.
