I am a gun dealer and have heard a lot of chatter about post election buying if Obama wins. I'm sure that would affect availability, and ultimately , price.
I can see the return of the AWB if he wins, I'm quite sure it is one of his front burner isssues.

I'm quite sure that ranks with the Illuminati conspiracy theories for sheer paranoia. With the economy teetering on the edge of meltdown, a war to get us out of, and a terrorist network to go after, surely President Obama will have more urgent matters on his desk than an assault weapon ban.

The tax "stamp" comes from the feds. Application, fingerprints, local law enf check, FBI backround check, wait some more, and hopefully (if you're "clean") you will be approved.
