Acapulco gold, panama red, Tai sticks (which was tai weed soaked in opium), black and White Lebanese hash (rolled out flat at about 1/4" thickness with a Dragon stamped on it...for $4.00 a gram) all were abundant in the early to mid 1970's in Southern California. You could buy a pound of compressed commercial weed for $40.00. I was just a kid, but I did have some good connections back then. It was a completely different World...a better World back then. After I'd stopped using they had even de-criminalized pot here for a while. I was shocked when I'd found out that the feds had turned it into a schedule 1 narcotic (overthrowing the votes of the people of California). That's why I am adamantly against the WOD. It is the height of criminal hypocrisy on the part of the Federal government and must be vanquished.
