Re: Make an argument as to why marijuana should be illegal....

damn dude that was a long time ago. acapulco gold came out in the early 70's right?
Yes...It was a long time ago. Acapulco gold, panama red, Tai sticks (which was tai weed soaked in opium), black and White Lebanese hash (rolled out flat at about 1/4" thickness with a Dragon stamped on it...for $4.00 a gram) all were abundant in the early to mid 1970's in Southern California. You could buy a pound of compressed commercial weed for $40.00. I was just a kid, but I did have some good connections back then. It was a completely different World...a better World back then. After I'd stopped using they had even de-criminalized pot here for a while. I was shocked when I'd found out that the feds had turned it into a schedule 1 narcotic (overthrowing the votes of the people of California). That's why I am adamantly against the WOD. It is the height of criminal hypocrisy on the part of the Federal government and must be vanquished.

Maybe you should try going to some meetings. Might help...

Perhaps you should come to terms with the fact that not everyone who is anti pot prohibition is a "stoner"...ok.
Oh, I can certainly agree with that.

Well, they're certainly not the brightest ideas I've ever heard...

It's a crutch.

Really?

Because I seem to recall you being on the pro-universal health coverage side of that argument. That would, of course, preclude me from spending my money as I want to.

Hypocrite much?

Now, here is what I call stupid.........

Record-breakers were legion. They included a jeroboam of Mouton-Rothschild 1945 from the private cellar of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild (Mouton's owner) that sold in February at Aulden Cellars-Sotheby's for $310,700. At NYWinesChristie's in May, an anonymous bidder on the telephone paid $237,000 for a dozen bottles of the highly acclaimed DRC Romanée-Conti 1985. At Zachys in May, a 42-bottle vertical of Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon from 1998-2003 fetched $130,900 against an estimate of $50,000 to $80,000. Deep pockets lined with gold are now a prerequisite to playing the high-end of the price spectrum.

Yeah, I'd call that pretty stupid.

What's your point?

Steve, I take it from your signature: "For those who have fought to defend it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know..." That your a vet. With the way you think, you may as well be spitting on the graves of of your veteran buddies who gave their lives fighting for freedom, because the vile, bitter crap that comes out of your head has got nothing to do with the freedom they died for. You have lost your way.

The opinions of drug addicts rarely have any impact on me.

Yes, I'm a Vet.

I'm guessing you're not.

No big surprise.

Yes, you can certainly be stupid enough to pay four bills for a bag of weed.

And I can certainly point out how fucking retarded I think it is to do so...

Where did I say "law abiding drug addict"?

That would be like saying "law abiding burglar"...

You still don't get it.

You've admitted to smoking. You've admitted it to the point of knowing how long this bag of weed will last you, or how much weed you should get for "X" amount.

I have a beer or three on the weekend. And, at 6'2", 240lb, they don't affect me all to much.

The fact that you believe the two are similar is evidence that you're hurting; crying out for help, afraid of being alone in your drug-induced fog.

Seek help for your addiction. There are places you can go where they don't want to judge you; they just want to help you.

I wish you peace...

See there? You stopped because it's illegal. I'm not going to sift through all the BS in this thread but I'm pretty sure you said prohibition laws don't stop anyone. Now here is that awkward moment.
