Re: Guns and alcohol

HMMM some of you can't read.....open carry and having a holstered weapon as in the Old West means the same thing. Im SAYING you dont see criminals with holstered weapons they are concealed and if you read properly I said "In most states if not all" it is illegal to walk down a street with a concealed weapon. Duh we're saying the same thing. Uniform policed DONT conceal their weapons, detectives and federal agents are permitted to obviously because of there work. I said unless you WORK permits you to. Guy lobbyist never listen, [read] what other's say they are to quick to push their own agenda.

Second, when you want to discuss guns....guns and alcolhol....are you doing so out of joy of being muged or shot or are you having this discussion out of FEAR of being a victum of crime. Like I said, you dont fear guns you FEAR those criminals who get their hands on them. I repeat its about POWER and FEAR, has nothing to do with rights. You WOULDNT arm yourself even with the right if you had no FEAR of being a victum. Others do it because they think it makes them tough!

You cat whispers and Dr Dolittles give it a rest....thats the problem you applying human behavior to other animals.

Last for the arrgant ones that notice I live in Australia......I was born in the US and spent the first 28 years of my life there and was force fed the American Constitution in school

That's under your misconstruction. Under my interpretation, I should be able to plead the Ninth if I don't keep and bear arms And there has been no invasion, insurrection or rebellion.

Otherwise, I should be able to join a state only militia that is not callable to federal arms, without an invasion, insurrection, or rebellion the domestic tranquility of the State should require it.

Re: Guns and alcohol

Hypothetically, if someone in a well regulated militia were to carry their arms in public, it would be easier if they were easily identifiable.

I do not think our laws should exclude anyone and anyone in official poverty could request appropriate arms to bear. It may even be considered a Ninth Amendment privilege and immunity.

In California, "open carry" is legal. I can strap a holster on my hip and walk down the street. The one difference is that the gun is unloaded. Someone who's proficient with a semi-auto, though, can have the gun locked and loaded in well under a second...

If they want to use Makarov with the Spetsnaz holster, they can go from readiness condition 3 to readiness condition 1 on a singe motion. Pushing the Mak down thru the holster switches off the safety and chambers a round. I saw it on Spike's Ultimate Warrior; pretty damned slick.

Russian belts Makarov belt shoulder holsters

In California, no round can be in the chamber, and the magazine can't be in the firearm...

so its an expensive piece of metal? cause a gun is worthless without bullets. if it can't be ready to use, then why the fuck would you carry it.

I don't have a screwdriver because I fear screws may be loose. I don't own a hammer because I'm scared of nails that need pounding. I don't own a gun because I'm scared I may have to use it some day. It's just a tool that has a purpose. Being prepared for the worst doesn't mean you're scared of the worst.

No, but where am I going to carry all that? Especially if it's warm outside. I guess if I wore a suit to work everyday I would have some options, but with pants and a button up it doesn't seem reasonable to have the magazine separated from the gun.

edit: I could probably have the gun loaded in less than 5 seconds (worst case scenario), but that could be a crucial 5 seconds.
