We will live a little longer with CO2 and more comfortably with it, since it is what plants breath in and we need them to eat and to create Oxygen. In the end it would be better defined as an Carbon Energy Tax.
Please tell me this is a joke, right?

Where is the Joke? Is it not a tax on CO2?

    Cap and Trade 101

Do plants not need CO2 to survive?

    CARBON DIOXIDE ( CO2 ) AND PLANTS

    Does Polution not mean:

    2. the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment

What is so harmful about giving plants more CO2 to breath and grow?

Plants need water, too. Guess what happens when they get too much. Or too much nitrogen. Or Potassium. etc. etc. etc.

Carbon Dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Sure, plants need it, and indirectly, we need the plants to survive so we can survive, but ..... too much concentration of any greenhouse gas is detrimental to all species' survival.

Try not to believe everything you hear from Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. Critical thinking is patriotic!

By calling the CO2 Tax a Pollution tax you democrats are the ones making up peoples mind what kind of tax it is. Republicans calling it an industrial tax is the same thing. Call it a CO2 Tax and leave it at that.

That is all I am saying.

As for Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, they were not the ones teaching my biology class that explained how plants and animals use CO2.
Please don't make such generalizations about peope who don't believe in Global Warming.

Here is an example of Criticle Thinking:

If I told the world that Dihydrogen Monoxide was a potential danger to our health and our environment. Dihydrogen Monoxide is produced as well as Carbon Dioxide in Refineries and power plants. People have died because of too much of it all the time. It destroys buildings and cars by eroding metal. When too much of it is in one area it destroys crops and kills animals.
Would I be honest in telling everyone that it is polluting the environment? I never lied in this statement, but by leaving out the good things Dihydrogen Monoxide does for our environment, I have tricked them into believing it is a pollutant.

There are no false statements on this webpage they are all true, but it is easy to get people to believe something you want by leaving out the things you don't want them to know even though you are telling the truth.

    Facts About Dihydrogen Monoxide

If you don’t know what Dihydrogen Monoxide is, I suggest you look it up before responding.

A lot to prove that their is an increase in CO2 but you gave nothing to prove that it is ruining the Ozone Layer or creating a greenhouse effect.

Show me a site proves Global Warming and I can show you a site that disproves it.

    Re: Presidential Price Fixing

I also forgot to mention in my last post that Dihydrogen Monoxide contributes to at least 60% or more of Global Warming.

Maybe we should start a Cap and Trade for Dihydrogen Monoxide.

    ps: if you don't know
Di stands for two, mono stands for one.
So, Dihydrogen Monoxide is two hydrogen molocules and one oxygen molecule. H20

    Re: Presidential Price Fixing

Heres the price fixing put into legislative form. The President is going to propose a "fix" for the health care bills passed by congress, one of which includes forcing insurers to get approval from the govt to raise prices.

Under the new proposal suggested by Sen. Feinstein, the HHS Secretary would work with state regulators to develop an annual review of rate increases. A new body called the "Health Insurance Rate Authority" would be created and would every year issue a report setting guidelines for reasonable rate increases. If proposed premium increases are not justifiable per those Health Insurance Rate Authority guidelines, the HHS Secretary or state regulators could block them.
If thats not socialism, I dont know what is. It sure aint free market capitalism.
