Liberals are Socialists.

In a big part, yeah. That's partly why the democrat party is dogshit. I'm guessing they decided they could not outdo the republicans in shittiness on the right, so they went left to try and be as shitty as the reps.

Liberals look at the failed system of Socialism that has been proven time and time and time again in the past century to leave nothing but death in destruction in its wake and think they can make it work.

Liberals hate progress.

As Imperator said in post # 8, Jefferson was a member of the party which is now the Democratic party. In lists of the US Presidents, there is often a (D) after his name. He is my favourite Democratic president of all times.

The Presidents on Mount rushmore are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. They are all prominent Presidents in the history of the USA. However, whereas the three first mentioned Presidents were good guys, I cannot say the same of the last one.

Sure, Lincoln wanted to end slavery, which is a good thing, but he was the one who molded the USA into one nation, indivisible. He took the Federal government too far, at the expense of the several States. The Union has never been the same again, it has not been a union of separate, basicly sovereign States, but a union of States in increasing degrees ruled by the Federal government.

Funny though because I am very much on the right side of politics and I believe in all 3 of those things strongly.
