No Democrats on Mount Rushmore.

I did notice there are 2 Republican Presidents though.

I found that quite telling.

Re: No Democrats on Mount Rushmore.

After President Reagan, the greatest President of the 20th century who single handedly ended the cold war as well as signed legislation that saved the ozone layer making him the greatest environmentalist in all of human history is carved into Mount Rushmore that will be 3 Republicans and no Democrats.

Dude; hate to rain on your parade… but that's not quite true.. Jefferson was a member of the what was called the Democratic-Republican party…...to keep things simple they went on to become the Democratic party while the other party which came out of the revolution, the Federalist party, after twists and turns went on to become the Republican party…and frankly if you have read the federalist papers and read Jefferson’s views on democracy it become clear he is more of a dem than a rep…..overall, taken what these terms stand, which has changed, over the years...who knows...

And now for my gratuitous shot at the original post which I cannot help-
“Its cause you guys don’t deserve to have one up there….bwwwuuahahahahaha

(wellllllll mayyyyyyybe Truman, but is he Mountain material, really? Beside's along with JFK they would both be vilified as con’s now anyway...)

Re: No Democrats on Mount Rushmore.

Yes, and the statue of liberty is French.

Mount Rushmore represents fine American Presidents. Their party allegience is only relevent to partisan cheerleaders.

You forgot to mention that he slew Achilles, bested Greandal, and removed Excalibur from its stony prison. I just figured as long as we were looking at the world with an innocent sense of wonder, it might not hurt to include a wider variety of fairy tales.

But I thought Ronald Reagan hated fairies...
