1) Hitler served a year, while getting preferential treatment from guards. I don't see how that small amount of time, under those conditions would psychologically scar him.
2) It is generally believed that Hitler was a virulent anti-Semitic before World War I and that if anything psychologically scarred him, it would have been the fact that he was gassed during the war.
