Now there's a thought! They have been getting hammered pretty hard the last few years. Lived in Florida from '74 to '86. Didn't hear of many tornadoes in the mid-70's, but they started getting a lot more common around the time Reagan became President! There was a hurricane- can't remember its name- in 1975 that kept approaching and re-approaching Cedar Key and the "People's Republic of Gainesville", backing off and then returning again, several times. Then it decided to spare the pot smoking socialist liberal students and free- love hippies of Gainesville and roared off to clobber Panama City- a much more religious and sexually conservative town.
Was that a "sign"?

I agree full heartily.
I would like to add though the "belief of evolution" verses the book of Genesis....The beginning of Genesis sounds pretty gang close to the theory of evolution IMO.

There was a tsunami hit the north west coast of the US (washington and up to canada) about 300 years ago. there have been a few similar tsunamis over the last couple of thousand years - and one may be due again soon.

the quake is likely to be more powerful than the sumatran quake - about 9 on the richter scale, which may last for up to 4 minutes and cause massive damage to Seattle and Vancouver (to name a few places).

would possibly also affect california.
