That notwithstanding, though, what's the point in apologizing? to make someone "feel" better? Fuck that. Having "nothing to lose" is hardly a compelling reason.

Tell you what, Sam, why not pump out some apology letters and send them to every black person you can find. If you're so concerned about an apology, step up to the plate and fucking do it yourself.

The fact is that there's absolutely nothing to apologize for, and nobody to apologize to. Nobody who's alive today owned as slave, and nobody who was a slave is alive today.

At best, it's an empty gesture which means absolutely nothing...
