Obama's New "57 State Patriotic Pin":

It seems like the same thing as the different between patriotism and nationalism. It's okay and encouraged to be proud of your culture and your people's history. I'm certainly proud of the good work and achievements my fellow crackers have done throughout history. However, I don't let all the good things done by my pasty brethren block out the fact that we've been the instigators of some of the worst things to ever happen on the planet.

Basically, be proud of your history and your culture and the color of your skin. Just don't start thinking it makes you superior to others, because every type of person has a past filled with highs and lows.

Besides, I have many more qualities that I'd rather define myself by than the color of my skin. If the biggest thing I have going for me is my pigmentation, then I suck pretty badly.

Of course, this is all assuming that we're not counting those god damn Inuits. To hell with them all.
