British body backs inter-species clones

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Making human-animal embryos for scientific experiments should be allowed because of the benefits to science and medicine, British experts said in a report released for Sunday.

This is the concern I had with cloning. I have no doubt that cross-breeding will happen in secret labs.
IMO....The end of humanity is in the beginning stages.

Re: British body backs inter-species clones

I am interested to see what is done with this technology although I have no moral objection to it in and of itself so long as the create are treated humanly.

Natural evolution of mankind. It is inevitable cross-breeding WILL happen.
Perhaps to develop a species compatible with Moon living.
Too many possibilities to cast it out completely.

I think it should be legal but I wouldn't mind having some strong regulation rather than completely leaving it unchecked. I think that it will probably be like any new technology in that at first people will think of every negative possibility no matter how remote even thought the benefits are much more likely and will probably far outweigh the negatives.

How on earth do you get the notion of any kind of cross-breeding out of this? Non-human eggs are just vehicles. They are easier to come by and alot cheaper. That's all there is to it.

Cross-breeding LOL

Give it time.

Funny thing about science is that; "What's impossible today doesn't mean it will be tomorrow".
