they rationalize in general terms. when confronted with indisputable facts they get in to the others. some democrats will admit when they are mistaken. One of the main differnces between the two.

Re: Study: Conservatives cannot be argued with

The idea that one cannot argue with a conservative is illegitimized by the fact that once a conservative were to disagree with the aforementioned opinion, as they naturally would, they would be labelled as stubborn and incongruous, negating any legitimacy to the opinion of the author. In other words, they're entitled to hold and maintain their opinion in just the same manner that you are. For the record, I am not a conservative.

I agree completely with the article.

However...did you notice all the different types of rebuttals the Republiconservaterians offered. Lacking an official party stance caused all kinds of independant thinking! Several rejected it out of hand, some came up with pseudo scientific rebuttals, and many said "the Dems are as bad as us".

I think if you had the time to rebuke thier rebuttals individualy during this vulnerable stage where they have no marching orders from Karl...there would be no strength in numbers to support and perpetuate the irrational clinging. You'd have a rare opportunity, albeit for a short time, to observe a Republican mind in a "dissconnected from the mothership" state. Like Borg without the collective. You could probably get some of them to wash your car.....Beacuse as soon as the hive catches wind and posts orders on Fox news...they'll all be hissing and pointing at Liberals like the aliens did in the Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
