Still not getting how starting a church based on an idea of Jesus being gay helps advance the civil rights issues of homosexual marriage. Homosexuals can already go through marriage ceremonies. Problem is homosexuals cannot get a state issued marriage license in 47 out of 50 states. Starting a church does not somehow automatically allow homosexuals to get a state issued marriage license.

Doesn't Jesus have the right to love whoever he wants? Marry whoever he wants? If that was so, perhaps Judas would not have committed such a passionate suicide? The Romans were closet gays - they didn't like Jesus running around yelling their little secrets. hmmm it all sounds like church to me!
You could start a gay church and it wouldn't piss me off, I'm a Buddhist. We obey the golden rule, we also embrace the concern that what we do harms no one else, and lastly what we do must contribute to achieving nirvana. Simply put "be good to yourself and others and only good will come from it"

I'm going to have to take your word that King James gave you evidence that Jesus was gay. Some Buddhist scholars believe that child molestation, wife beating, rape, incest, and stuff like that is sexual misbehavior. Being gay isn't considered wrong amongst Buddhists, were as nearly all King James Christians acknowlege that the KJ Bible says man shall not lay with another man. Let alone all the dissapproval manifesting itself in Bill O'Reilly's hatred of San Francisco and Gavin Newsome. O'Reilly is a devout Catholic.

But like I said...I'm a woefully uninformed study on the nuances of Jesus's sexuality.
