yang yin is descriptive. Nothing in Taoism is insulting.

when I say U are yang culture it means ": aggressive, selfish, expansionary, conquering, intelligent, positive go get it attitude, " My theory is that the industrial revolution favors the western yang culture especially in an environment of unlimited resources....just got to use a gun and grab it.

In the post industry revolution world which we are entering, it favors the yin culture....where wisdom not intelligence is needed, friends not conquerors are needed, where flexibility is an important asset, where strategies will win over brute force.

and my theory is that when yang culture goes into decline, it is going to be violent, abrupt, unforgiving, devastating, immoral.

Chinese culture already got to go into decline and it was brutal, abrupt, unforgiving, devastating and immoral, it was the Chinese Civil War and the Cultural Revolution.

I was looking at hole saws in the hardware store today, there was one for $6.95 made in China, and one for $13 made in USA. Thanks to you Mel, I bought the $13 one.

I myself haven't conquered anyone just yet. I'm an individual who makes his own choices as to what to read and can draw from every word written in the whole world. Recognizing the deaths of tens of millions and perpetuating the myth they were sacrifices and in any way a cleansing sacrifice is very pathetic as it reveals your government owns your mind, body and anything that would count as a soul (assuming of course you are genuine).

Do you have children, do you have relatives or friends with children? Do you wish them to be part of a ceremonial sacrifice for the next great leap forward? Do you want their blood to fuel the machines of others pride and the dust of their bones to fatten the wallets of billionaires? How many of their own people will be victims the next time those in power need to prove themselves?

Taiwan sits offshore as an example of the impotence of Mao and the party during the bloody years you've idealized. By co-opting western industry and finances as China has in recent times it may reclaim Taiwan one day, through playing the games of bankers and lawyers.
