    The American condition

Americas politicians are criminals that have convinced us that what they are doing is not theft, murder, extortion etc.

They've convince us that we actually need or WANT these criminal actions perpetrated against us. They have been able to do this because the citizens of America have lost their way and allow it. We are no longer "well informed" and "virtuous." We are no longer free, and our government is now completely corrupt.

“As long as the people of the United States are well informed and virtuous, so long they will be free and their government uncorrupted. It is in their power to remedy the evils arising from having wicked and designing men at the head of government — they can lift up and pull down at pleasure. If government be not wisely administered, the fault must be in the people; for the frequent election of every branch of the national legislature, if wisely executed is a sufficient remedy to all the mischiefs arising from a corrupt administration.”Cyprian Strong (1799)

Our "leaders" now teach us that bondage is freedom, hate is love and intolerance is tolerance. Murder is now a "right" or a "choice." Lawmaking has become the enterprise of dangerous criminals.

Some old statements that warned us of the bondage we have willingly submitted to:

"Our destruction if it come at all, will be from...the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence." - Daniel Webster, secretary of state for three presidents (1782-1852)

"He claims that the transgression of Gods laws will bring liberty and exaltation even though it always results in bondage and degradation." - Ellen G. White

"Every institution in which men are not unceasingly occupied with the word of God must become corrupt." - Martin Luther

.................. we spend our time arguing and wondering about the bondage we have submitted ourselves to. Completely baffled and confused about how we got here. There is very little hope for us.

    Or, perhaps it's not.

You are right and I think the reason has to do with people accepting the age old fallacy in politics of supporting a program where you'll get something for nothing.

We were sold that "bill of goods" long ago. It's called "the federal reserve." Many similar manipulations, shenanigans and outright thefts have been made possible BY its creation.

The criminal enterprise the American "government" has become, was founded LONG ago and assisted by the creation of the federal reserve.

You mean realistic don't you ?

Look at post # 2 and 3 for proof of what is said in the opening post.

They simply serve to illustrate your selective memory and penchant for over-the-top, unhinged absurdity.

Sorry that upsets you so, Cap.

It is sad that during this economic crisis the IRS and federal reserve have been granted more power!

What is really sad is that most Americans believe that they are "following the law" by allowing themselves to be manipulted and enslaved by these criminal enterprises.

These criminal enterprises from which escape is impossible without mass cooperation.

Which will never happen. We're kept impotent by being kept divided by "party politics."

Clever game they've played on all of us eh ? We dance to their tune(s) and keep screwing ourselves without even realizing it.

Only the blind or those that support the criminal enterprise the American government has become would say such things, would try to dismiss as "silly" the people that recognize the obvious.

Pride is America's (the United States') biggest obstacle. Pride will always be the biggest obstacle of a preeminent world power.
But as people become less bounded and nationalistic in their thinking, and more open towards transnationalism--and issues which supercede national boundaries such as money, people, and the environment, the human race will continue a newer path. Of course it's more our nature to devolve into groups, or societies, or clans, or tribes, or nations -- helps in the establishment of identity as one identifies oneself against "the other."

I love America (A.K.A. The United States.) I love the country, the founding principles, the variety of people, the relative freedom. And yet, naturlich, several orders of government exist over this land. The questions in my mind are: "What purposes should Federal authority serve; and how should it be enforced? Which tasks and responsibilities are reasonable to delegate to the Feds?"
