Paul is my personal favorite of them ... hes my Dennis Kucinich of the right.

I work with a guy who is trying to convert me.
He's not a very good salesman because I know more about Christianity than he does.
In fact, I often lecture him about Paul's original intention of creating a religion without commandments but that encourages ACTS of kindness, charity, a loving messiah.

What's so bad about what Paul wanted and the message of TNT?

Does such a religion require someone to walk into the room and say to an adherent, "You're a fool for believing.".
This in your face behavior is rather insulting when you consider the fact that nearly 100% of it's adherents are not liars, cheaters and murderers.
So a religion gets perverted by some evil SOB; do evil people need religion as a beard to commit atrocities?

That was just from page one! Not to mention that Blue Doggy keeps insinuating that atheists can't possibly have any morals and no so-called Christians in this forum even bother to disagree with him. If you can't see the obvious double standard here, it won't do any good at all for me to dig up dozens of other examples from this thread alone, much less any other which even mentions atheists.

So what exactly is so terrible about someone claiming that religion is a fairy tale in context with these incessant attacks on atheism and deliberate falsehoods about it? Why is that so offensive to so many Christians, but poking fun at Muslims and even burning Korans "accidentally" is perfectly fine? That it is perfectly acceptable to even openly hate the ACLU and atheists?

For the most part...Yes.
Centuries before they would have had to become Talmudic scholars or outright converted to Islam.
