    That makes no sense.

If Presidents under either label - R or D - continue to spend all this money, and you are paying for it, why don't you care to do anything to change it?
I am doing something. Im no longer legitimizing it. But I cant stop you from taxing me. But thats irrelevant. Im not here on USPO for my personal feelings. Im here for entertainment.

    Unfortunately, you're probably right.

True, but on the plus side, the percentage has been increasing over the years.
    Today's forecast: Government corruption.
Tomorrow's forecast: 100% chance of more 'politics as usual'

Maybe it's finally time to vote Libertarian

So the idea here is to do OUR job and elect those who will try and change it and who HAVE A CHANCE to be elected.

BTW, if you're ever bored, have a read of the "emergency" powers that this agency has. They are authorised to do everything you've ever seen in your worst sci fi horr flick. Yep, and the scary thing about those divisions is that Obama established that with an executive order, no legislation to speak of. The President decides counsel of governors that sit on the 10 person board (each in charge of a region) and they can completely override the state governments. That is some scary shit.

To each his own I guess, I can respect that. But in all honesty, you don't really have a reason to complain about what Obama's doing to us in that case.

That's what some of us are trying to do. Unfortunately, we are demonized as unpatriotic and called crazy and kooky, then the media and talk radio personalities completely railroad the only guy who actually would change this crap and stop this madness.

Oh please. Stating your views are wrong is not saying you are unpatriotic....Saying Certain Congressmen you might support hate their own country is not saying you hate it. Get thicker skin cause it is not my job to not speak my mind the salve your feelings.

    1. It's the same thing, I wasn't referring to myself specifically; Paul supporters are called unpatriotic and crazy all the time.

    2. If Paul "hates" his country for thinking we should simply look at our foreign policy and perhaps change it, then I guess I supposedly do to based on that criteria, I feel its just a simple matter of cause and effect, common sense, and probability.

    3. I never said it was your job to "salve" my feelings. In fact this thread and my comment had nothing to do with that. I'm perfectly content. At least I see this crap coming a mile away, folks like you still have your head buried in the sand pretending its just the "libural" "Democrap" boogeyman doing this to you and ANY Republican will save us. It's crap, they are all the same. You might not agree with me on pretty much anything, but surely you can agree that this government oversteps its bounds way too much?

To the extent that it infringes on me, I do, but we get complaints from all sorts here. Ive done my time.

Here's one I've talked about for a while now but forgot to put in the OP:

You legitimize it by paying your taxes and by still living in country.

Re: End of Civil Liberties and the Constitution

If our civil liberties were REALLY threatened then at least half the people who post on forums would have had their internet cut off.
We probably don't know a fraction of the legislation, from local to fed, which is either flat out unconstitutional or threatens our libery.
And when one of these cases pops up the ACLU will be right there looking for more donations.
You should always have an informed opinion, so after I inform you, please feel free to express my opinion...USCitizen

LOL You sure do like your Strawman's. So, as long as we have internet, our civil liberties cannot possibly be threatened?
