It's so heartening to learn that these liberal fucks can be bought. They say it's in the interest of "public safety". Bullshit. It was argued that, since the cameras had been installed, there had been no fatal accidents at those intersections. What they failed to point out, for purposes of comparison, was the number of fatalities at those intersections before the cameras were installed. They also seem to want to ignore reports which indicate that rear-end accidents have tripled at those same intersections.

If the Los Angeles City Council wants to be taken seriously, they should stand by their word, and completely sever ties with any entity who has ties to Arizona, including those companies who are headquartered there. But they're not doing that, because they are, by and large, far too comfortable lying to Los Angelenos...
