Will the administration bring suit against San Fransisco and othe cities?

The Obama administration is bringing suit against AZ's saying that only the federal government can make immigration policy. So, if this is the "only" reason the Obama administration is bringing this suit shouldn't they also bring suit against San Fransisco and other cities that have enacted "sanctuary policies?

    They absolutely should.

    And they absolutely won't.

This administration doesn't have the balls to do the right thing...

    I am sitting back waiting.

If they pursue this suit, I predict AZ and other states to sue the federal government for failure to perform their duties. Especially after that dickhead of ICE say he won’t do his duties and follow the law.
I also see some individuals getting involved then, file suit against the feds for allowing illegals to kill family members, etc.
This whole suit thing will come back and bite them squarely in the ass IMO… And I can’t wait to see ol fuck face obama look more like an idiot when it does.

Good grief! This is a healthy adult attitude? I understand you preferring a Republican, perhaps John McCain, as your president, but I do not understand this sort of rant. There was an election. More voters voted for Obama than voted for McCain. This is America; its how it works.

Americans fought and died for that right and here you are, pissing into the wind. For what? Aren't you a patriotic American?

What I really don't understand is that you are obviously hoping America and Americans will fail, just so you can win an election. Is that really what you want? Children starving and homeless, just so Barack Obama will look bad? Man, thats borderline sick.

wow, you sure don't know me.
McCain is a fuck also, like most politicians. I am for new blood in the system and out with the old same old same olds.

I care more for our nation and of our children more than the jerk off's in office and from the tone of your post, more so than you. So please try not to piss on your shoe.

Hey Obama and this administration have been fighting and trying to improve the conditions in this country for the common people more than anythign the reich wing has done ever and this is in spite of the backwards ignorant arrogant reich wingers and tea bagger terrorists.

And yes the federal government should bring lawsuits against any political entity that attempts to usurp federal law, power or control. If the lawsuits fail then they should use any other method up to and including military force.

Of course not, that is not what this administration stands for. I have been saying this a number of ways in other threads on the subject. This challenge to AZ has nothing at all to do with the AZ law itself, the place of immigration law on a state vs. federal level, impeding federal laws, constitutional issues, racial profiling, or any other reason dreamed up. This challenge is about an answer to the question on dealing with immigration in the first place or at all. This administration stands for ignoring the laws we already have related to immigration and I should add the AZ law is not all that far removed from. This is about this administration wanting to continue to ignore the law, sit back, do nothing, and now force AZ to take the same position. This is about political protection of a potential voting group. As for sanctuary cities, not only will this administration not do a damn thing about it but in fact will reward sanctuary policy makers by taking those that agree and put them in federal positions of authority.

The facts say that Obama is not interested in litigation with sanctuary cities. Yet, he is interested in illegal immigration laws NOT being enforced to any great degree, i.e. Az.

Tell any village idiot the facts of the Feds not going after the cities that overtly break Federal laws, yet that the Feds go after a State that is trying to get more enforcement against illegals, and he wouldn't have a problem telling you of the unfairness involved. Yeah, it seems even the village idiot is more intellgent, and that is pretty fucking bad. When political beliefs make you blind as a bat, your intelligence is of no use to you or anyone else. Political beliefs are no fucking different from religious beliefs. In fact, to some, politics is indeed a religion, based upon faith, and not reason. I find it funny as hell. All they need is a pie in the sky when you die.

OK, on a healthier note, have you seen news stories about how the dems that are up in November feel about Obama's AZ suit? I'm sure that they would LOVE Obama to send the necessary resources and begin an actual effort to secure the border prior to Nov. ( instead of what he's doing, which is defying the will of a nation who wants something done NOW).
Take a good hard look, it's coming.

Re: Will the administration bring suit against San Fransisco and othe cities?

Of course they won't. They have no real expectation of winning the silly lawsuit in the first place. They brought the suit only to firm up Hispanic votes for Nov. and for 2012; win or lose they can claim they are for Hispanics, with or without papers.

Also, their true target is the way the AZ law will be applied, for there is bound to be a few Hispanics who holler "RACISM!" and then another suit will be brought on the basis of racial profiling.

Which leads me to the simple thought and common-sense argument: If any racial group predominates in criminal activity, what is amiss with racial profiling for the purpose of enforcing the laws broken in that activity? Is it too much for some Hispanics to be inconvenienced in order to prosecute the guilty? Much the same could be argued for middle east terrorists. I see nothing inherently wrong or extreme with racial profiling as against millions of lawbreakers and those who would commit violent crimes, even mass murder.

If the Federal Government DOES NOT perform it's Constitutional obligation to protect it's citizens from foreign invaders, it is up to the citizens to replace the government with one that will.
The fudge packing liberals will likely find that #1, the Tea Party is better armed and #2, if it became necessary to replace the government by force, if say, elections were canceled or rigged, the vast majority of the US military would uphold their oath to defend the Constitution.
I'm sick and tired of my brothers and sisters dying to preserve America's right to drive like assholes.

There aren't any grounds to sue them. You can't sue a city for sitting back and doing nothing about immigration. Hell, it's not their job to chase immigrants.
