Poisoning water is never a decent act. Just because you deny them water does not mean they will turn back or that they will stop coming. It just means more of them will die in the desert tryign to get to america. The land of the free, home of equality, opportunity all that jazz the right wing is supposed to be protecting and endorsing.

The Humanitarians who are making those water drops are the real heros and any decent person with knowedge of anyone interefereing in those water drops should report the immoral criminal activity of poisoning people to the authorities or work to stop it. Otherwise the deaths of anyone who could have been saved by that water is on their soul just as much as the ones who poisoned the water.
The poisoning is crossing the line, I grant you that. I however see no need to aid and abet criminals (the illegal immigrants flouting our laws with EWI) by leaving them water. No one forced them to EWI. Its not my fault if thats hard.

They are not "heroes". Take Humane Borders, for example. They put out their water stations and post these maps

in border areas. The advice on the map is "Don't go there! Not enough water." but in the lower left are advisory notes on what to bring when you do cross. These people don't discourage illegals from coming across...they aid and abet them thus encouraging more to cross and, ultimately, causing more deaths.

Hey at least theya re better than the gorram bastards poisoning women and children. Those "people" are worthless scumbags.

And the problem with why there are so many illegals comign across is that the right wing has prevented the govenrment from effectively and seriously punishing companies for using them.

Dry up the jobs for illegals, dry up the stream of illegals. But do it in a humane way.

This is not going to stop with just a big wall or minefields or any one method. It is goign to take a serious restructuring of the way thigns are done.

Bingo. You nailed it. For so long as the major employers are tempting these people to come here for the jobs, these people will come.

This is the same scenario as the drug problem. So long as we arrest the users and let the drug bosses go free, we will have illegal drugs. So long as we arrest the immigrants and let the employers go free, we will have illegal immigrants.

Matter of personal opinion. In this case however, there is no active denial, merely the suggestion that litter be cleaned up.

Nope - nothing at all. The whole bit about taking the beam out of your own eye before worrying about the mote in someone else's does not apply in this case by any stretch of the imagination.

Besides, that there Bible thing has some pretty harsh suggestions on how to deal with thieves. If you're going to attempt to use it as justification of your position, be aware of other things it advocates as well.

Nope - sure isn't and neither is invading a nation.

Nobody is denying them anything. People are merely suggesting the litter is picked up.

    Yeah - so?

Ah - but those things only apply to those who wish to live by our rules, and one of our rules is to come here legally.

Glad to know you think only the right is supporting the concept of this nation representing freedom, equality and opportunity. Does this mean you're finally admitting the left represents oppression, inequality and control?

Nah- those "humanitarians" are assisting others in breaking the law, which makes them criminals as well. So sorry your moral compass is off again.

Career politicians in general, both right wing and left wing, have been holding up fixing the border situation. Arizona instituted a law 3 years ago that mandated that all employers verify new hires through the DHS e-Verify program but implementation has been held up since day one by legal actions. This administration has come right out and said that they will not enforce immigration laws unless they "have reason to believe" that a detainee is involved with criminal or terrorist activities.

    So what happens?

The crossers keep right on coming because they know that there will be little or no punishment if they are caught.

Tell that to the "immigration rights" crowd. Those are the assholes that are suing to make sure that employers don't "discriminate" against illegals. Take your pick guys. Either we prosecute illegal immigration - all facets of the crime - or we open up the borders. You can't have it both ways.

So prosecute the employers. I'm all for it. Where do I sign?

That however does not excuse the dreadful littering taking place, nor the aiding and abetting of criminals. Won't someone think of the children?

A big wall with a mindfield might be much more effective than you think.

Got a link for that? I would be interested in knowing who is in that crowd, and what it is that they are advocating.

If they are advocating against slavery and slavery working conditions them I guess I better become a member.

Most of us use Google. You may choose a different search engine if you like.

slavery? I wasn't aware that you paid slaves. Which is the case with illegals coming here to voluntarily work under the table for straight cash. And for less than minimum wage.
If they didn't come here illegally, theyd have legal recourse to complain about little pay or poor working conditions. The employers who do that need to be sanctioned, strenuously. But the illegals themselves are a problem as well.

Re: Immigrant deaths in AZ desert soring in July

I am mystified as to why you used these links. The first is about black Americans working as domestics in NYC, and providing a day off a week, overtime pay, and some vacation/holiday time.

The rest are .... well, I don't know what they are. Stories about vigilantes trying to enforce what they believe is the law, I guess

I do not see how that supports your position in any way.

So you would, therefore, be in favor of replacing these water drops with manned Border Patrol water drops, right? Hey, they can get the water if they really want it, right?

Plus I am sure that if you go through your christian bible there are several passages you are in contest with. Somethign about your fellow man and the stick in his eye.
Um, I have a Bible, but I'm not a Christian. The Bible is a good read, but that's about it. Ergo, I'm in "contest" with nothing...

Poisoning water is never a decent act. Just because you deny them water does not mean they will turn back or that they will stop coming.
let word filter back that there's no safe drinking water to be had in Anza Borrego in August, and I'll bet illegals start thinking twice...

It just means more of them will die in the desert tryign to get to america.
    And, what?

The land of the free, home of equality, opportunity all that jazz the right wing is supposed to be protecting and endorsing.
I'm in favor of all of those things.

But if someone's here illegally, fuck them. They deserve none of it...

The Humanitarians who are making those water drops are the real heros and any decent person with knowedge of anyone interefereing in those water drops should report the immoral criminal activity of poisoning people to the authorities or work to stop it.
Well, water drops that are staffed by Border Patrol personnel would certainly stop it. People wouldn't feel the need to taint the drinking water, because they would know that anyone stopping there for a drink would be apprehended and shipped back to wherever the fuck they came from.

    Don't you think that's a good idea?

Otherwise the deaths of anyone who could have been saved by that water is on their soul just as much as the ones who poisoned the water.
    I'm completely cool with that.

See, here's the thing: You can call me evil, uncaring, or a hundred other mean, nasty things because of my stance on illegal immigration. I don't care. I really don't give a fuck. These people do not belong here. Period. If they were not here, they wouldn't have to worry about drinking water tainted with Palmolive, or dying while trying to cross the desert.

The illegal aliens are, ultimately, in complete control over whether or not they suffer that fate...
