Alabama had shown us all the solution.
actually no.. the parents are just taking the kids out of school, not leaving the state. We have to go after the people hiring the illegals.

Until we make illegal immigration legal, I am in support of any state who tries to address this problem. And I am a liberal guy in most things. Laws are there for a reason. If you don't like em, get em changed, but until then, enforce em.

Employers are not immigration agents. It is the federal government's job to go after illegal immigrants.

Congrats to Alabama in helping reduce the problematic expense illegals create in this nation.
Hopefully someday the rest will man up and understand the true problem our worthless federal immigration laws ignore.
Great! It is nice to see that something is still working properly in America.

    Q. Are illegal immigrants citizens of the US?
    A. No, therefor to the best of my knowledge the Constitution DOES NOT PROTECT THEM. This means that we could legally and without legal repercussions arrest any individual confirmed to be here illegally and not a citizen and drop them in another country. Of course we could also do that to people here legally. Any child born on US soil with parents that are citizens of the US have a duel citizenship which we can then revoke and ship them out of the country.
    Q. do illegal immigrants pay taxes?
    A. again to the best of my knowledge No, this means that our government is in trouble because it is supporting a population that does not pay taxes.
    Q. do we have a foster care system?
    A. Yes we do, deport the illegal immigrant parents and put the child in foster care if you must.

Think about that I plan to post sometime tomorrow after I have my thoughts in order.

    Your knowledge is lacking.

The SCOTUS has ruled on multiple occasions that the Constitution applies to illegal immigrants as well as to citizens.

    Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886)

    Wong Wing v. U.S. (1896)

    Plyler v. Doe (1982)

    Q. do illegal immigrants pay taxes?
    A. again to the best of my knowledge No...
Again, your ignorance colors your opinion.

Illegal immigrants pay income, sales, and property taxes.

The New York Times > Business > Illegal Immigrants Are Bolstering Social Security With Billions

Study estimates that illegal immigrants paid $11.2B in taxes last year, unlike GE, which paid zero - New York Daily News

    Q. do we have a foster care system?
    A. Yes we do, deport the illegal immigrant parents and put the child in foster care if you must.
Do you have any idea how much it costs to raise a child?

Based on the fact that you haven't yet demonstrated a working knowledge of anything I'm going to guess "no".

At present the federal government reimburses the states an average of $40,000 per year for each child in foster care.

From personal experience I can tell you that it can cost a good deal more when you also include education, medical care, and the opportunity cost of spending quality time with a child when you could otherwise be arning money (a sacrifice, in my opinion, well worth making but a cost nevertheless).

Think about that I plan to post sometime tomorrow after I have my thoughts in order.
Oh. I see. Your thoughts weren't "in order" when you posted this nonsense.

In retrrospect, that makes all the sense in the world.

With this in mind... these kids have done nothing wrong except be born in or carried into a country. They had no choice in most cases and we need to help them. If they were born here we can’t send them back to wherever they came from, and if their parents brought them here when they were very young they know of nothing but America.
I think we need immigration reform and it starts with stopping more from coming in. This means border fences and stiff penalties against ANY company that hires an illegal immigrant. 1st offense should be 20k, second offense 100k, 3rd offense is 200k, and 90 days in prison for the owner, or board. When you take away the jobs the illegals will most likely leave.

    It is really that simple.

Next, we need to face a simple fact... We can’t herd up those that have homes, lives, family and kids born in America and send them back, so that means we need to get them on a path to citizenship.

I support allowing children who were brought in before their 18th birthday the ability to serve in the military for 4 years and that will allow them to be granted citizenship. I do not support doing this for simply attending college. It must be service to the country and they must renounce their citizenship in any other country.

Illegals that are here and commit any crime... even the smallest of crimes should be kicked out.
First off, there is no such thing as illegal immigration. Illegal aliens properly describe the undocumented. Doesn't sound as appealing does it?

If God had doled out to me crappy criminal legal American parents here in the U.S., short of physical neglect/abuse or incarceration of my parents, I would be stuck with them & their actions would in turn change the course of my life, most likely for the worst. I had done nothing wrong. Maybe I would get help, but statistically, I would fall through the cracks.

What makes the child of the illegal alien any more entitled than say, a legal white or black American child? Why should the crimes of their parents be ignored, yet the crimes of the white or black child's parents land them in jail leaving their children uprooted from everything they've ever known? Both are criminal acts and either way the parents should have been thinking about what was best for their child(ren). In this common scene in most any American town or city, the illegal child fares much better, as do their parents. Why? How did they pick up more rights than a true American citizen?

What of the anchor babies born on American soil to illegals? This is a huge flaw in our immigration law or the interpretation thereof. Children are not responsible for themselves until the age of 18? Until that time, their illegal alien parents are responsible for their prosperity and care, not the United States. Our country does not maintain a nursery. Best wishes to you & your criminal family, feel free to come back when you can care for yourself.

The schools in the state of Alabama are not turning children away, they are only reporting the children that are undocumented. The fear that their illegal parents harbor for their own criminal acts is what is preventing them from sending their kids to classes provided by the tax payers of Alabama. These children are being pulled out of school and placed in a new school, in a new state where they do not have to live in fear of being deported. It should be no different than the criminal legal American parents pulling their children out of school to elude conviction from authorities. BUT it is different, the criminal legal American's children are torn apart with no grandstanding for the protection of their rights and the illegal alien's children are protected to build a home, routine & education! You will never hear protests of meth head supporters stirring propaganda that new meth laws are leading to lower school enrollment. That would just be insane... The illegals are scared and running out of AL on their own and I am okay with that because they are CRIMINALS.

Alabama has not aimed her new immigration laws at injuring the prosperity of the illegal aliens that abound; Our law is aimed at injecting common sense and personal accountability back into state government and it just makes good sense to protect our citizens above all other. Thank you Governor Bentley for doing the job we elected you to do!

How can anyone who has read the history of our movement into what is now called "The United States" conceive that we can in effect criminalize such similar actions now. Stop them at the border or their home free and legal ! Np one needs a "Green Card" to qualify for joining the battle for survival by working for a living at whatever law abiding job they can find.
    Laws are purchased-Justice with blood.

What American wants to be a cheap farm worker when they can probably get more from welfare benefits? Hey, maybe paying people to sit on their asses and NOT work isn't such a good idea after all.
