I'm not sure that this one woman's experience in the UK reflects the type of treatment most Americans recieve. She probably just has a confrontational personality. But I do agree that there is certainly resentment towards Americans. I've spoken to some British people about their feelings towards Americans and they tend to dislike the American government but don't blame the American people for what the government does.

I just have to think since Europe is such a racsist group and alot of that racsism is directed towards Americans, if I go there to live do I get preferential treatment or do American's get quotas for government jobs?

I grew up here. I have a bonafide American accent just like yourself!

Just because I have lived in Aussie for 8 years on and off, (which is one of the most beautiful places in the world), and because I have observed anti-American sentiment in my travels abroad, and just because I can understand to a large degree why forigners don't like us, does not catagorize me as Anti-American!!


Let me ask you this...have you ever traveled overseas??
I get the impression that you havent. But I don't know.

Depends on which country you go to, in Copenhagen you would likely get your ass kicked to a pulp, but the Krauts wont bother you!
