Murder is the unlawful killing of one human by another, especially with premeditated malice. Manslaughter, rather, is the unlawful killing of one human by another without express or implied intent to do injury. They fucking shot him - how is that not express or implied intent to do injury?

I don't what she is assuming or what she thinks she knows. I do know that she is trying to argue the premise of the case, though, by claiming that there was no murder in the first place.

Besides all this, though, my point several posts ago was that I don't see how you can hold the same position as her, "Killing the enemy is not murder." You said you certainly agree with that. So, then, the victims of 9/11 were not murdered? The beheaded victims in Iraq were not murdered? The many, many people in the Holocaust were not murdered? Or does that quote only apply to enemies of America?

Well, given that I'm reading and writing and not listening, my ability to hear (it's "deaf" by the way) wouldn't really have any impact on the discussion.
