Well if you didn't get my drift, not so important, just read the last part, it's a simple question, nothing more.

This appears to be nothing more than a baseless accusation. Are the facts that hard to swallow?

As I indicated in the beginning, my main beef with France is that the purposely screwed up the UN deal, along with the Germans and the Russians, in an attempt to keep their illegal oil for food scandal from going public. This is at the expense of US national security. That makes them our enemy. They lied to us about their true motives, and many of the frenchies in this forum won’t even admit that today, in spite of mountains of evidence. That makes them pussies. When we go to Iraq without the UN, then they claim that our action is illegal. That makes them hypocrits.

This is similar to what the French did in the 80's, when they refused use of their airspace for us to bomb Libya in retaliation for the German discotheque bombing that killed US soldiers. They don't give a crap about our national security, and prefer to side with our enemies when we need them

The other thing about the French is that they think their culture is so damn superior to ours, constantly demeaning ours, yet US culture is sweeping the world, in spite of the French attempts to keep their culture from eroding. If their culture was superior then they wouldn't have to constantly remind us that is supposedly is.

BTW I’m not to pleased with the Swiss either. Their secretive banking laws are illegal in the US, and have been used to hide money stolen as far back as WW2, probably much earlier. This makes them co-conspirators in crimes committed throughout the world, for generations. Yet they have such a damn superior attitude! They’re dirty.

Before I continue, a word to the oil for food program. This was not an French invention, it was an action of the UN in order to fight the shortage of food in Iraq -oil in trade for food. The idea behind oil for food was good, but it was handled badly. Allot of money from this oil buisness was used as compensation for the countries involved in the war for the losses they suffered. More money was used to pay the expensive UN burocracy that managed the oil for food program. In the end there was not that much left for the Iraqies. While the oil for food program did improve the situation in Iraq it wasn't enough to protect many Iraqi citizens from a death of starvation. Whatever, this oil for food stuff clearly isn't a pleasant chapter of UN-history. Now, you can either cast the UN to hell, or you can try to improve it, it's up to you!
Ok that said, the French didn't invent that program, just so that's clear. A couple of French, Russian, English and Syrian officials managed to make illigal profits from that program, that's all we have, not more. No one can prove that any governments were involved into this, that's pure speculation.

Your Arguments on France:
A couple of French officials made illigal profits from the oil for food program. Furthermore you believe that France blocked an UN-supported Iraq war in order to cover these officials. Furthermore the French refused to open their airspace in the 80's to the USA.

Your Arguments on Switzerland
You don't like Switzerland becacause Swiss banks are/were involved in secretive and dirty deals.

These are your arguments, and these arguments are enough for you to send whole cultures to damnation. Is it a French artist's fault that some of his fellow country citizens were involved in illigal buisnesses? Does the French mother have any fault when a French politician abuses the oil for food program to make illigal profits?
Is it the ordinary Swiss guy's fault when a Swiss bank is involved in dirty deals??

Is the fact the USA used ammunition made of depleted uranium in the first Iraq war no Crime? (Many Iraqies were exposed to the radiation, a steep clime in miscarriages and deaseses was the consequence)

Is the fact that the USA performed such a strict import regulation in Iraq (first war) not a crime????? The sanctions the USA imposed on Iraq killed 1.5 million Iraqies due to starvation. Even after the oil for food program was launched to fight the food shortage, the USA still refused to allow medication and watercleaning technology to be imported, leaving the situation in Iraq a mess.

Is the fact that the USA supportet the Suharto-Regime (Indonesia) with equippment and political support no Crime? The USA didn't only support that regime, they also helped that regime to come to power in the first place with a murderous coup.To fresh up your memories: The Suharto Regime was a reign of terror. After East timor proclaimed independance Indonesisa occupied East timor (1975), murdering 200'000 citizens out of a population of 700'000. All that happend with the OK and support from the USA. At that time the USA didn't want east timor to turn red, so that was justification to let Indonesia perform their murderous crimes.

Is it not a crime that the USA was massivly involved in the putch of the democratically elected Salavdor Allendes in Chile, in order to help one of the most radical dictator South America has ever seen (Pinochet, 1973) come to power??

What do you think Glockmail, the USA is Gods country that stands for the ultimate justice and possesses the highest of all morals?? I think I gave you a enough examples of US crimes that are worse than these couple of greedy French officials making illegal profits. So if you are consequent you won't only send the French and the Swiss to hell, you will also send the USA to hell. And if you won't do that, than you are rating countries differently, and that would make you a racist.

I don't generalize. While i have a negative sentiment towards the US government I don't automatically project that sentiment on American Culture. I drink Coke, listen to american music, whatch american films and I just love hot dogs.
You are the exact opposite. You feel some actions from foreign governments to be insulting to the US. This negative sentiment you automatically project onto the whole country, the whole culture and all it's citizens behind that government, you send them all to hell, you generalize.

Well, if your ideology makes you so happy than congratulations. I am only happy that people with your attitude are a minority in the world and in the USA. The other way around it would be frightening. What comes from people with your attitude history has already shown with Nazi-Germany during WW2.
