Look at the source! You might as well get your news from a 12 year old with a crayon.

I also very much act like an American. I always wear ball caps, shorts, and white tennis shoes. When I get "dressed up", I wear cowboy boots.

My point is that I don't try to hide my Americanism and ALL of the people I have met have ALWAYS been nice.

Sounds like an overly simplistic victim-mentality AMerican trying to get some sort of lawsuit going.

Fortunately, I don't think the Brits are that sue-happy.
They're laughing at you behind your back. Believe me, I know. I'm Canadian and I lived in the UK for a year. I always got asked if I was an American because our accents are sometimes similar. When I said, no I'm Canadian I often got the response, "Oh, what a relief" or words to that effect. Sorry, truth hurts. If you stopped acting like a stereotype of the US maybe people would respect you more.

You mean we should act like like you? But does the world really want more rage, hate and malice? That is your stock in trade - apparently your ONLY stock in trade. Oh well, if you really think we should!

You hold your own in that department Tim - and self-righteous hypocrisy seems to be your speciality. By the way, I'm in your neck of the woods at the moment and believe me, I can't wait to get out of these shithole towns of upper New York state like Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo and Troy. All dumps full of faded industrial glory. Sorry, truth hurts.

I have never been a big fan of New York, but damn you are a rude, hateful person.

What is your dysfunction? Did you talk to your children like this and now they hate you and that is why you are here hurling insults?

Way to represent Canada!

You are a bitter canadian, aren't you! Do you think you are the only person ever to visit the UK? I bet you would call someone a liar if they told you they had a totally different experience! Birds of a feather flock together. Translation: Bitter, nasty canadians will find bitter, nasty comrades wherever they are! Do you have anti-American circle jerks, or do you just keep it to yourself?

Spent two years making the blood run between major hospitals in Europe for the 7th Medcom. Dang you know it was good to me, damn I could load up that truck (cracker box ambulance) with any thing I wanted in Amsterdam and never be pulled over at any border. It was the Blood Run!

My first marriage was to a German woman, got divorce some years later. She's doing good though, at least the last time I talked to her. Even speak pretty good Deutch, well did some years ago I'm going back a few years.

In fact I even got to go to Yugoslavia area back in '79 with Marion from Kitzengen, never would of imagined it to be so pretty there. Yet I would of been in trouble if the military got wind of it though. Something about the government? Spent more then one weekend pulling medical duty on the old 2-K Zone, that was a trip, stone out of my mind waving to the E. German Guards marching with their dogs up and down the fence over and over again like this 19 yr old stoned american was going to attack them! LOL I'm sure they didn't want to be there more then I though so they probably weren't all that bad.

Then when I got my European out I did about as much as when I was in the military, which wasn't much! Sold Insurance to G.I.'s! Plus other stuff so I did okay, I was kind of wild back then, settled down quite a bit. All in all I really don't have much against Europeans outside of the ones posting crap here that is.
Thanks for your military service!
Looks like someone was deadwrong about you. Nothing new, though.

Thank You prettly little lady!

Oh well, we all seem to be here to work out some frustrations? I have fun doing it but after a while it gets old and it'll be time to go back to work.

I feel a warm a furry towards the US now.

The truth is that while there people in America say stupid and ignorant comments like one above generally intellengent know that about half the people in the US didn't vote for Bush.

Bush isolationist view of the and determination to see the world in Black and White has been found by the rest of the world as arrogant. His failure to back international treaties which were for the better of hunman kind and NeoCon influence has left US foreign relations in tatters.
He has cut aid in africa which does not help corporate interests(generic drugs) or the right wing interests(absence only campaign in Africa).

PS
The US has 4% of the world Popullation and 25.2% of the worlds CO2 emmisions....

And now for an extented metaphor:
EU could be seen as the mother that nurtures countries to democracy and welcomes small countries with open arms to join, where as US could be seen as the father who takes the cane to the misbehavin kids.. its no wonder why some would start to hate their father and run crying to their mother.

Looks like you've lost the hundred. Been to Italy, Greece, and Holland recently. Nice restaurant in Greece, BTW, owned by a George W. Bush fan. Lots of good Republicans ate there. Got my picture taken with him.

Also have relatives in Austria whom I correspond with, as well as friends in Germany that we visit with once in a while. Damn I love those German women, especially how they talk. Das guten. Probably go skiing over there next winter, depending on time and funds.

Will you be writing the check to me or commie?

Is that your excuse as well?

Yes, that is what happens when you have Democrats running a city for decades. I'm not exactly sure what you are complaining about. They are the same people you would have voted for had you lived there.
