It seems that it is a policy of the French nation and people to always be uniquely French.

And that French unique-ness seems to have manifested itself beyond glorifying basic French culture.

On an international stage at least, The French seem to not only define themselves by what the French do, but by what Americans do not do.

There seems to be an obvious rivalry among the French when it comes to America.

1. The French fought the colonies decades before 1776 in what is upper PA and NY, using Indians as allies and terrorists, killing and raping women, scalping children. Truly awful stuff. The French helped the US during our war of Independence, only because they hated the Brits more than us.

Definitely not. The position of France was that more time was needed for the inspections. As Bush jr. had deployed his troops at great expense and the meter was running, he was not willing to grant that time, or the risk that the UN might conclude (correctly) that Iraq had no WMDs. In a nutshell, France upheld the law, the US broke the law.

The French had secret arms deals? Well, I supopse the US had more balls then, because they didn't bother keeping their deals secret. How did Saddam come to power again?
