In English we refer to this as a rhetorical question. You certainly do not expect an answer because the question implies you think you already know the answer and accordingly you use this technique to tell others your assumption but do it in such a way that just in case you are called on it you have cover. Most people who see this tactic employed however pretty much understand what the intent of the suposed question is. The fact that you think it still works as a question merely because you placed a ? at the end of the sentance is simply just further documentation of your childish approach.

As for what the types of names the other kids used, trust me when I say far worse than you are likely to be able to dream up on a good day. So as I said I have had plenty of experience with the school yard name calling and it simply doesn't work on me any longer. I merely turn it back around against the person employing that tactic as I have done in your case.
