China has 55 minorities.foreigner usually mention Chinese government suppress minority.I admit many soldiers are station in the west China.yes,Chinese Government fight with Dalai Lama's supporter since 1958 till today,in Xin Jiang province,military police fight with the Eastern Turkmenistan terrorists,the US Government also consider they(some Eastern Turkmenistan persons,Uigur) are terrorist,because they had ever fight with American soldiers in Afghanistan.
foreigner often complain Chinese Government attack Tibetan.I considr the most important point is Chinese Government select stay with Tibetan ethnic in peaceful way,but you select against other ethnics in violence way,so Government station many troops in Tibet.if not,why other ethnic can live together happily,but just Tibetan complain government don't treat them kindly?abandon violenc is a good way.
