For me to truly begin to respect Cuba would be for it to open up it's political process, rather than continuing to have only one politically party, the PCC. Until that happens, I don't really see why you would criticize the political freedom of America. Doing just that would make me think even better of it. Also, I have to agree with Eric, however much I detest him G. W. Bush was elected fairly into office, and Clinton did not rape his secretary.

And China, and Facist Italy, and the USSR, and Mexico, and Japan during WWII, and Spain, and Argentina, and Canada(in the 1970s with the Quebecois, I'll admit it, we're not perfect), oh, and Cuba! I don't like the idea of the suspension of Habeas Corpus at all either, but if you're going to make wild claims like that you might want to remember that the history of man has seen more than one instance of Wacho leaders.
