Re: What is wrong with Americans?
I guess you are a bit surprise. Now you realize how you little now about others and how much others now about you. Do you know why? because others are not arrogant as you are. No more hiding behind famous Anglo bluffing ( as you call it presentation ), now the whole world is watching you. Also don’t forget we can speak your POME language and you can not ours for example Spanish.

Apakah Anda berbahasa Indonesia? you might find it more useful where I live, for example. Mandarin would also be useful ... and I have found the little Arabic and Farsi I have to be extremely useful. Arabic in particular is widely spoken as either a first or second language by many of the people who are granted humanitarian visas in this country. You have also increased the likelihood of people believing that Castro's Cuba doesn't educate people, but brainwash them with propaganda. If you are indeed Cuban, you are doing a great disservice to your country, and pleading with others to remain calm in the face of your small minded insults is the height of hypocrisy. You deliberately provoke the responses you get. It is interesting that on this thread I am finding myself sharing the views of some of the Americans whom I have NEVER been able to find common ground before.... I almost suspected that you may be some right wing nationalist American 'plant' trying to paint Cuba in the worst possible light ... but I doubt that there are many people who frequent these forums who are so blatantly dishonest as that. henceforth you will be on ignore for me, because your posts are a total waste of bandwidth. |

Re: What is wrong with Americans?
I have always told myself that the one thing which often distinguishes Aussies is our propensity for looking OUT to the world. We live on the largest island continent on earth, most of us are far from our land of birth, or the land our parents or grandparents were born in. I know people from nearly every land, probably the only one I don't know is an eskimo!
If you are Cuban, then you have led me to question many of my assumptions about the world and I don't thank you for that. If Cuba is a socialist country then it has to be inclusive of other viewpoints and it has to be prepared to seek the truth. You have displayed none of these characteristics. As I said before...You have become what you hate!

If half the people of any given country are uneducated idiots, that means that there are some 25-45 million uneducated idiots in UK, France or Germany. But that also means there are some 150 million of them in the USA. Ergo, by size and mass, the US uneducated idiots are far more noticable than another particular blob of uneducated idiots. I'll bet China and India have even more uneducated idiots - just that they don't have internet connections yet. |

Iaca is clearly 'factually challenged' about many things including his roots, nation of origin, etc etc etc..
OFF TOPIC - Didn't we used to have an asshat award here at USPOLITICS? I have a nominee!!!!

In all fairness to Iaca, for those who are confused about his origins. If you read his first post in this thread he is talking about a young woman he met from the US and is telling HER story. I think this has made him very angry and might explain why he is so objectionable. On the other hand, he needs to be told that injustice affects us all, no matter where we live.
