The problem is that you are thinking with a US capitalist mentality. Socialism does not divide people by nation but they will help any person in need.
In other words capitalist symbols like money and profit are not solution for everything.

Re: How Cuba helps discriminated young Americans

I notice, laca, that you have chosen not to address the issues I raised with your opening narrative.

How do you explain people risking death to flee Cuba?

Matt

The same reason people risk their life to flee Mexico or Guatemala or Honduras or Haiti, etc.

Socialism does not divide people by nations. Ok, so why is your little story making so many comparisons between Cuba and the USA?

I don't get it.

If Cuba is so great and everything is so wonderful, why does Castro(who does not respect term limits by the way) spend so much time bragging about it and constantly comparing Cuba to the USA.

Your OP just seems like Cuban State propaganda story.

And it makes you, and Castro, sound like you are either:

A) snobby, eltist assholes if what you say is true that Cuba is so great. And this elitism seems like an odd attitude for good hearted socialists.

or

B) insecure losers who need to trash other people to make yourselves look good because all you have is a facade of perfection.

So which is it amigo?

Can you be a bit more specific and define your terms "loser" and “winner".
Why do you think I am a loser and you are a winner?

He won't answer, It's because those are the people that actually refuse brainwashing and would actually like to disagree with what their government has to say about their realities. Not to mention a chance at improving their lives.

Laca, if you could only visit the US, you would probably see what I'm talking about. Oh wait, you can't...

Cuban life expectancy highest in Latin America in accordance with CIA report.
This according to both the CIA's world factbook and the WHO. At approximately 77 and one half years. This puts it just about equal with the United States, and in the top 25% of nations worldwide.

North Korea, at 71.65 years, is toward the middle of the rankings, and ahead of such countries as the Philippines (70.21), Iran and Indonesia.

Kind of interesting... You might think, from reading news reports in the West, that everyone in both those countries was starving to death, but evidently that is not quite the case. Unless, that is, the CIA world factbook is written by communists, I suppose.
So your proof that political executions is CIA propaganda is that Cuba has a good health care system? Do you have even the remotest ability to address the topic or is deflection your only tactic in this debate?

No Sir you are mistaken it is not a rant it is telling the truth.

In the world of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act

Telling you the truth is for your benefit. After this people usually weak up and cleanse themselves.

Re: How Cuba helps discriminated young Americans

If you want to debate why don't you try addressing the issues that are brought up instead of changing the topic when confronted with an issue you don't like.

Well you also had the option to choose A) elitist snob.

I mean you are gloating that Cuba is so wonderful and America is so terrible.

If you are so perfect and have so much, while we are inferior with nothing, then why are you rubbing it in our faces? That does not seem very nice. Such an attitude seems contrary to good Socialist values.
