Remember Cambodia?
How about Pol Pot? Sure you do--just think of it as Hollywood--the movie Killing Fields was about Cambodia, Pol Pot and the forced relocation of the population.
Ok It is happening again--business and political elites are basically stael the peoples land and forcing them to move. But it differs from the past for the people are fighting back this time--they are trying to do it the legal way now, hbut if that fails armed confrontation will most likely be the norm. The problem is the democratcally elected representatives are in league with business and are pulling out all stops to acquire the land needed for whatever project--at the expense of the people. Nothing new here for in happens in the US but just not on the samne klarge scale as in Cambodia.
