I've been used to listening the original voices of all actors, so a change to some finnish voice in everything would be unthinkable. I just cannot imagine Schwarzenegger speaking finnish. I remember one of the first things I read when I learned to read was subtitles.
Even if it would be cheaper to dub movies, it would end soon because audiences here wouldn't go to see movies after that. Only kiddie films are dubbed and even those are unbearable to watch. Some youth (15-25) tv shows are not even subtitled anymore, because nearly 100% of the youth here are pretty fluent in english. Looks like that in the future it might be cheapest to stop subtitling altogether, at least in english films and tv shows.
