In case you don't know, both Bush and Clinton administrations are not too bad regarding their China policies. The white house is usually much more intelligent than the stupid and annoying American Congress.

We never criticize American developing weapons. America can develop whatever they want. It is your domestic affairs, and we do not interfere with American domestic affairs.

Which systems are you referring to? Considering most of the plans I heard about involved detonating a nuclear device to knock out the satellites I find it a tad hard to believe.

I seem to remember China whining in the 90s when Clinton met with the Dalai Lama. Similarly, whether or not we sell weapons to the sovereign nation of Taiwan should be none of your concern. You do not raise taxes there, you do not maintain a military presence, establish law and order, dictate foreign policy, provide for the creation of public works, so don't feed me this crap about it being a part of China.

China simply attempts to buy up media in western nations to turn them into propaganda machines and that is not meddling in domestic affairs. But should a nation have dealings with a democratic nation which by any objective measure is independent and sovereign, China throws a hissy fit. So don't feed me this line that China is benignly hands off when it comes to foreign policy.

Awww... Is someone upset that the congress is exposing the CCP's practices against the Uyghurs, Tibetans, and Falun Gong practitioners? (among others)

Yes, puppet states like Russia and the United Kingdom. Because if someone doesn't like an action undertaken by china they must have been swayed by some great international conspiracy to encircle and isolate China.

Re: Protest??????

I was hoping one day satelite based missle defense programs would render nukes obsolete. What do you think? Does this mean we are going to have to make enough satelites at higher altitudes that the other nations cant possibly shoot down in time for a nuclrea launch? are we going to have to build space ships that are "stealth" to replace the satelites missions to take out nukes? should we give up on the idea all togethor?

Actually, some of those who did criticize are not exactly on friendly terms with the US. Some who did not criticize, like Israel, have a very close relationship with China. So, who is the puppet and who is not.

Not to mention Nixon, BTW.

But I was referring to your off conspiracy theory that the US was behind the test; thus provoking a standard reaction by the White House, in order to deceive the John Q Taxpayer from the real tragedy of Iraq.

Yes, but this is not Star Trek.

I understand the logic behind the anti-satellite and anti-ballistic missile system because a majority nuclear weapons or its materials are not firmly secured with rational people, but any new weapon system will spur new weapons development in any case.

Re: Protest??????

ahh so thats what they are all afraid of when they are talking about weaponizing space, Star trek lol. No I just immagine that satelites will begin to move on thier own power to avoid strikes, and may be refueled by space stations... because maybe i wonder that the solar panels will be to easily seen as they reflect light. ( i am just guessing) So maybe there will be powered drones movin about taking pictures and whatever. Although I am sure they will keep this secret like the stealth fighter. This is just my prediction or fantasy whichever.

Re: Protest??????

also about insane nations, nations can become insane as soon as they change leaders. china or russia could become insane in a decade if they decide too. Thats also the worry you know. I don't think either china or russia are insane now but its possible considering the type of governments they run in 20 yrs they could be.

Actually, this year or possibly next year, China will revamp its income tax system. They are already working on the corporate side to make their MNC more competitive internationally, especially in Africa. The individual income tax system also needs to be revamp because of China's increasing wealth among most its citizens.

China does what most other nations do. If it is to their advantage, they will criticize. And if its to their advantage, they will do the same thing as it was done to them in the past.

I can understand the Falun Gong, it is not a religion, but a controlling cult. However, I do think China needs to rethink its policy toward the Tibetians and Taiwanese if they want to become a world dominating power. As for the Uyghur people, there have been some terrorist attacks in the autonomous region by the separatist movement there, which is why the crackdown BTW.
