Who do you support in the final round of the French presidential election?

Pick your candidate.

Re: Who do you support in the final round of the French presidential election?

Damn. I almost wish I had made the poll public. I personally do not have a pick. I do not live in France and could not say who could do the best job for that country. I have been following it though and am interested as an outsider.

I'll vote Royal... But I hate both candidates, it's just a question of degree

Well, the decision is very easy for me, it will be Sarkozy, I already made my decision a long time ago.
Yes, a public poll would have been interesting

"Hate" is perhaps a bit strong, I should have said "strongly dislike" .
I gave my reasons there:
French election: That's it!

Of course I don't agree with you about Sarko.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I tend to think that you have been a victim by this left-brainwashing which try to explain for several weeks how Sarkozy is an evil guy....

For the english speaker. I won't vote for Ségo because she hasn't got any ideas about what she will have to do if she is elected.

If I could vote it would be Sarko. I think he has the guts to make some necessary reforms, as for Ségo I think she has nice ideas but in the end they won't work and cannot be financed.

You hit the nail Feb
This is exactly the reason (at least one of the reasons) I vote for him.
And I have no problem with his rude way of saying things. Sometimes truth needs to be said as it is, and the constant whining of the left really bores me.

Re: Who do you support in the final round of the French presidential election?

I will vote for Ségolène Royal.

I don't think she stands a chance in front of Sarkozy. I was stunned by his result last night (I tipped 27% ...)

But Sarko's ideas can't be financed either and will not work if half of France is against him ... That's the problem.

As if your fucking country weren't socialistic enough already.

I just read that the French people work 30% less on a week than the Danes do. Seems like someone from above really needs to kick your lazy socialistic frog asses into a higher gear - and that cannot be done by a socialist president for obvious reasons.

You miss another choice in the poll: null vote, this will be mine, null, as a lot of people who voted for Bayrou are going to vote null.

How about not being rude? Can you do that?
