Re: Should Mexico be on the Axis of Evil list?

You know, it just occurred to me, according to Steve Mexico hasn't fought a war in 125 years......

Well 125 years ago was 1882 and right then Mexico was at war with ....nobody.

I think Steveox is much cleverer than we think. He's evidently got one of those machines that allows you to slip sideways into parallel dimensions, he's actually reporting on history from an alternative timeline !

You know what im talking about.I said about 125 years ago heres the last war mexico fought
French intervention in Mexico - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
So i was right! Franco-Mexican War took place in 1861 -1867 So they havent seen a brutal combat battle since then.

Actually, you didn't say about 125 years at all you said 125. The above is what 140 to 146 years ago, bit of a difference. You don't think a revolution/civil war lasting 10 years and costing between 900,000 to 1,000,000 lives might count as a brutal combat ? That was 1910 to 1920 by the way.

That was not a war against another country. They have not Fought with an Air Force.Mexico hasnt used Tanks yet. Hell they dont even have a navy. They used america to Protect them. Its the same as canada too using america to protect them.So i ask the mexican goverment if you want our protection you better keep your people on the other side of the border.

Well, it's not a huge navy, that I'll happily grant you, but it looks an awful lot like a navy to me

I can't help feel that my comment earlier about checking facts before making statements could be applied here as well.
