MOSCOW, May 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's gold and foreign currency reserves increased by $3.1 billion to $372.1 billion in the week from April 27 to May 4, the Central Bank of Russia said Thursday.

That's a lie actually. Indicators, that you have pointed, are changing to better side. Some of them - during last 7 years, some of them - during last 3 years.

Just one indicator - real incomes. Real incomes (nominal incomes minus inflation) in Russia are getting bigger on 15-25% during last 7 years.

For example, average salary in Russia by years:

1999 - 62$
2000 - 79$
2001 - 113$
2002 - 150$
2003 - 174$
2004 - 237$
2005 - 340$
2006 - 460$

In Soviet Union, average salary (in comparable prices) was about 800$.
