How China Leads the World in Web Censorship
Very interesting article from Der Spiegel. I, for one, never fully appreciated the scale of internet censorship in China. I am curious to see how our Chinese posters respond to this. Though, I think I can predict how they will.

Re: How China Leads the World in Web Censorship
I've often wondered whether or not China creates "people" as presence on the international 'net in order to foster public opinion. That is, it wouldn't surprise me if there were some government official creating myspace profiles as teenage Chinese girls and talking about how much they love China (assuming myspace is allowed there - I don't know). Just idle pondering.

Dude, weak. Imagine having to tell your friends that your job was to pretend to be a bunch of teenage girls in the hopes of impressing people in other countries...

Re: How China Leads the World in Web Censorship
I'm a little scared by how much we are obsessed with how China runs itself.

That would be the best job ever. I've already got plenty of experience. Accept my friend request on MySpace, it's the one from CuteC-grrl113.
