It's a good sign that Cerin Wangmo - a tibetan Woman - was in the middle of this event. I take it as a good sign, that China likes to respect all tibetan people. But it cannot not be only a good sign - there must follow much more help for the tibetans not to loose their own identity, their own language and their own culture.

Shen Zhen was a small villiage 20 years ago,today,it's a big city,just few Natives(they--Hakas,I speak same dialect as them,I am half Hakas, settle here long ago,Mongolian destroy Song Dynasty,most Hans escaped from North China and came here),most citizen come from everywhere of China,there are two cities gather all 56 ethnics Chinese,one is Bei Jing,another is Shen Zhen.
there are 8,000,000 citizens(the total population of Shen Zhen is 14,000,000) watched torch reply in Shen Zhen today,but there are too many citizen beside the street,students didn't go to school,clerks didn't go to company,workers didn't go to factory,everybody wanted to see torch,and most citizen run follow the torch,the guard and police were separated with torch player,so they changed the torch reply way to make sure the torch be more safer.most citizen could't watch the torch.

Torch relay in ShenZhen is also very great!

I prefer relevant news that affects people, that concerns people. Domestic polices of China for example, in how the Olympics Games are going to improve the freedom of speech as promised by the Chinese government when they got the Olympics Games, still waiting for coming improvements, or was it just lies?

I don't understand why it should be so big, I don't remember anything of the torch relay in Greece when Greece organized the Olympic games, it's just not important, it's nothing. It's so irrelevant, it doesn't matter at all.

Maybe because "Western media" like news that actually matters. I know that Chinese media likes to talk more about irrelevant things like car accidents, and torch relay than domestic polices that could affect every Chinese.
