I am a Chinese and I am proud to be one

This is very sad. I hope at least all the survivors can be rescued and saved in time.

When we face the nature, human is so limited and lonely!
We must hold together and help each other, not only Chinese but also all the world!
I have contribute 200RMB towards victims!
I know what I have done is so negligible!
But at this time , every Chinese is doing his(her) best to help them!

At least China is ready and willing to accept our help unlike Burma. As terrible as their government is, they know when they need help.

I am collecting here in my vicinity and a chinese friend of mine will fly over tuesday next (at his own expense)to deliver what we have collected so far and to see what more is needed.

Some seismologists believe, the quakes will go on for several months, getting weaker all the while.

I read a report about a school in Dujiangyan. It collapsed within seconds after the beginning of the quake.
All the houses in the vicinity are still standing.
Neighbors claimed that corrupted civil servants and builders used inferior materials to make a private profit.
The school was built only 16 years ago.
Nearly all the children (600) and the teachers died.

Now this is, where you can get in. Help to curb corruption, help to make sure, good value and high quality are more important than a quick Yuan.

That way China will be safer and will prosper in the long term.
