These blackouts clearly demonstrate that we cannot guard against them! What if one fine day they black us out and attack?! Fuck it! Then what are we waiting for? We need a preemptive strike before China is strong enough to attack! Why, yeah! We already had a campaign in Afghanistan, then in Iraq and soon in Iran. We can also invade China! In any way, we've got nothing to lose our men are already there in Asia! The day should be ours as they don't expect it!

Before I went to China, I called my bank to let them know I would be using my card in another country. They said they would not approve any purchases in China. Said the Chinese are extremely good at identity theft and therefore I should not even take it with me. So, I didn't, I just took cash.

Re: Chinese meets Chinese!

The Chinese are seriously into cyber warfare. Right now, what they have done is a major irritation. At least security officials have their eyes peeled for it and catch it.

China denies hacking into US computers

The Associated Press
Thursday, June 12, 2008; 9:13 AM

BEIJING -- China denied accusations by two U.S. lawmakers that it hacked into congressional computers, saying Thursday that as a developing country it wasn't capable of sophisticated cybercrime.

"Is there any evidence? ... Do we have such advanced technology? Even I don't believe it," Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a regularly scheduled news conference.

Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., and New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith, a senior Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said Wednesday that their office computers were hacked into by people working from China. Both lawmakers, longtime critics of China's human rights record, said the compromised computers had information regarding political dissidents.

Wolf said four of his computers were compromised beginning in 2006. Smith said two of the computers at his global human rights subcommittee were attacked in December 2006 and March 2007.

China has a thriving information technology industry and claims to have 221 million Internet users _ equal to the U.S. as the most in the world....

Annoying.

I find your views to be enlightening, to think that after all these years China has become no more than terrorists. I would not doubt they would not hesitate to use their latest Nuke Sub, biggest in the world, to intimidate or try and destroy any western culture not affiliated. That they care not for others is plain when looking at the response following 5 million homeless from the earthquake. I would say when you harass and jail innocent women for lamenting their loss of a child there is not much humanity left, no independent thinking there just a blind mentality.

I am not condoning these arrests but I would love to hear about your feelings for the vietnamese, afghan and iraqi waifs and widows, for themany dead and still dying people of Laos (there are still millions of US mines in Laos, a neutral country at the US "intervention" in Vietnam - and not even an apology yet, not to mention not one cent of reparation by the US)

I always wonder about the many americans who scream tirades about splinters in other peoples eyes while generously disregarding the crossbeams in their own.

I am a Vietnam era vet, i did not serve there but i served in Korea and Germany. I remember well at the time being a clean cut American i joined the army at 17. I was raised a son of a world war 2 vet who was severely injured. I joined to serve and had no real opinion at the time. I think politics played the entire role on both north Vietnam and USA involvement and we were not given the truth about what we were fighting for. Another thing is we all serve our countries this should not break down to everyone condoning the fight what i fight for is not always how i feel about it.
