Re: Chinese meets Chinese!
I'm not really sure, but I definitely know that I wouldn't argue that they should remain part of the US because they were once part of the US or had been part of the US for a while.

Re: Chinese meets Chinese!
The whole world is screwed up basically...China is simply, without question, the most superior at exploiting the weakness and/or inability to act than anyone else in the world.
Basically, it is like what Stalin said when referring to the liberal congress "usefull idiots"...(yes I have used this before) The American government is "useful idiots" to the Chinese. The Chinese act wholly for their own good, dumping products on our markets, putting entire industries out of business - then come back and raise the markets when they are the only ones left - they learned this from the Japanese - only they make far superior products than Japan did - and why not - it is our own industries building massive manufacturing plants there - and training them to run ourselves out of business...and then we borrow money from them to boot. Oh well - as long as the fat cats (or wasp as the term Imperator uses, that I like better) know they can make millions investing in Chinese markets - the Chinese will continue to out-think, out-maneuver and all around out perform the American government - who continue to bury their heads in the sand, the same sand they are building our future on. For China - the future looks bright. For America - who knows. |

Re: Chinese meets Chinese!
I agreed with everything you posted except this part! Chinese made merchandise is little more than shoddy, second-rate, toxic, pet-poisoning, child-irradiating garbage. The only thing Chinese products are good for is illustrating how NOT to make a product.
However, my people are cheap, greedy and dumb enough to buy Chinese garbage that is sold at the average RedMart so your point stands either way... |

I wonder why it would On second thought, I don't wonder why it would for you.

China slowly but surely is taking over the paper industry - America has closed dozens of paper mills in the last 10 years while China has built MASSIVE paper mills - and to boot they buy clear-cut trees from all over the world to do it. They are also (at least half way there) taking over the aluminum markets - today China is the largest consumer of aluminum in the world, they use to buy it from us - but then American and European companies built plants in China (which is actually a contracted property - because the Chinese government OWN the plant) over the last 2 decades China (about the 1000th time) used these very plants to build their own aluminum - stabbing the back of the companies who were foolish enough to trust them. I could go on for hours about this.... |

Re: Chinese meets Chinese!
If it is made in China I would assume that "high-end" means that when the camera explodes it will send your rear-end high into the air? Hell, they have poisoned our pets and kids with their crap; this would not surprise me in the least...

Re: Chinese meets Chinese!
Don't have any experience with exploding cameras but I prefer quality products and have less complaints about those Chinese products I use than what the US is still attempting to produce. I buy best quality at best price regardless of who makes it.
