I have no way of knowing whether you're spreading propaganda or expressing your personal opinion. I'm only pointing out that what you claim as personal opinion seems to line up with the official propaganda.

I am not lining up with the official propaganda!
Although our government perhaps is not very democratic as you want, but it's an government of us Chinese!
Because our government is a government of us Chinese, the government have to realize our opinion in many importan areas!
Uniting Taiwan is one of our opinions!
If our government didn't cater for our opinion on Taiwan, our government would disapear!
So propaganda of our government is lining up with us ,but not the other way round as you said!

1. Taiwan has made it very clear, that it will only unify with a DEMOCRATIC China.
2. After the worldwide negative Tibet news of the past months, China is glad to grab at the offered Taiwan straw, knowing quite well, that nothing will come out of it.

3. If you´re willing to die for a lost cause, you´re one of about half a percent of all Chinese. The rest will prefer to make money and stay alive.

4. Taiwan is NOT part of China, it is an independant country.

5. The way your claims go, you will probably declare the USA part of China in a week or so and threaten to kill Americans should they stay in the way of your ambitions of acquisition.


Come to grips with reality.

China has dabbled in economic adventures without the needed knowledge.
Now the economy has lost close to 40 percent value within one single year.

This is the main reason for the Taiwan talks.
Masquerated as unification talks by your government, these talks in reality are no more than seeking advice from a successful neighbor.

Should China keep up the aggression and Taiwan thereupon shifting her orders to other parts of Asia, China would lose close to 15 percent of her presentday work orders.

Fact is, Taiwan rules China, not the other way round as you would have it.

Come to think of it, you know very little of your own country apart from Beijing propaganda.
And it´s easy for a little man to pretend muscles where there are none, as long as he stands behind a very high wall and cannot be seen from the other side.

That's also a factor with about 30% of Americans whose opinions line up with official US propaganda.

Taiwan IS independant, she has DECLARED independance she is merely not a member of the United Nations.

Hi, don't write so many words for readons of independence of Taiwan!
What a hard work for you!
Our government may read it, but I won't!
We don't care that, we only know Taiwan is part of China!

I'd like to see some links with numbers on that opinion. China educated its intelligentsia in the best western universities for decades and that core has been educating China itself since the late '90s.

Hong Kong has always been head and shoulders above Taiwan in the accumulation and application of capital. Why would China seek advice from Taiwan, which like Hong Kong has been industrially joined at the hip to the mainland since the '80s? Taiwan would have more to lose by relocating current production from the mainland, their factories for instance, than China.

Taiwan rules China? That's preposterous.

Rule one:
Never argue with a chinese, you´ll always lose for he will never listen .

Rule two:
Trust in Taiwan, THEY have brought about the (ever so slight) opening of the chinese market.

Rule three:
Trust in the chinese. Throughout history they have always squandered whatever they´ve gained. They always lost to smaller nations because they were too busy showing muscle where there was none.
They´ve invented some horrible looking weapons to frighten others only to be defeated by simple arrows and plein swords.

Rule four:
Give yourself a treat and go to China for a holiday with eyes open. You will soon realise, China will not achieve anything ever. Their mentality is to know everything better. do as little and cheat as much as possible and constantly utter nonsense knowing quite well, nobody cares to listen. So does my four year old grandson.

Well, rule four applies mainly to the likes of xy_god, but sadly a great percentage of the chinese are like him.

A personal note:
The germans didn´t bomb pearl harbor. they nuked the Japs.

Hawaii for less time than Tibet to China. Though Hawaii APPLIED to become US state.
Alaska was bought and is property of the US.
