Iranian president Ahmadinejad has accused the german governement of brutality, corruption and islamophobia, following the killing of an egyptian woman in a Dresden court room and demanded UN sanctions against Berlin.
The case has indeed caused anti- german protest in several muslim countries and makes security services worry about "retaliation" attempts against german facilities ot citizens..........

Anyhow: every Muslim of Germany is allowed to travel in the Iran and to live under the protection of Ahmadinedschad. But I don't think a lot of Muslims will do so.

I love it when this guy makes ridiculous demands like that. Everytime he opens his mouth he further demonstrates to the world how bat-shit insane he is.

I am a liberal, a classical liberal. Classical liberalism is liberalism, but the current collectivists have captured that designation in the United States. In Europe they are glad enough to call themselves socialists. But no one in America wants to be called socialist and admit what they are.

The point was that this was actually a minor trial with a money penalty to be expected and Germans are generally not that used to carry weapons around or expect others to do it. But still this a major scandal ( especially the policeman shooting the husband) and as a result a family has been destroyed and a little boy lost his mother.
The accusations by the iranian president are still hilarious though, but that was clear before he opened his mouth.

And we care what he wants why, exactly?

i went to the courthouse just this morning to file a petition at the court for my job. i had to *gasP* leave my knife in the CAR!!!!! because they made me empty my pockets and walk through a metal detector. you know to make sure i didn't have any weapons. you know.... so i couldn't KILL anyone in the court.

seriously. epic fail germany.

Even with metal detectors, we still get courtroom shootings here in the US every now and then. So, it's a bit unfair pointing a finger.

Ahmandinejad never denied the Holocaust, but questioned parts of it.
And parts of it are wrong, while other parts so horrendous that they should be hard to believe.

Wrong reaction.
Carried away or not, the expression of emotion by Ahmadinejad is not only understandble, but even required to a degree.
Claiming this reflects negatively on Ahmadinejad, only makes him look more correct.
The correct response is sympath.
That is the only one that is appropriate and difuses rather than inflames.

It is to be expected, and is not that unreasonable of a starting point, to get some attention to a real problem.
