The jewish claims conference against Germany (JCC) in New York has not been shaken by negative headlines for the first time, but this time it is serious. Now six high officials and at least one member of its board of directors have been arrested by the FBI for lining their own pockets with tens of millions of Dollars payed by Germany to support Holocaust survivors living in the US. And after beeing cautious in other cases ( for example dubious deals with real estate reclaimed by former jewish owners in Germany) this time the german governement is not hesitating with criticism and sets conditions for keeping up payments :
