Thread: Iran is not making nukes!

The U.S. does not need to get drawn into a war with Iran. If Israel attacks Iran, we should not support them. This is not our fight!

No, but Iraq might. Allowing Israeli warplanes to overfly their territory on the way to Iran might very well be regarded as an attack by Iraq too. There's also Jordan to consider. Given that they can refuel in the air on the way I see no real reason they would have to.

OTOH, even if they tried, they might not be able to stop them, and it is considerably shorter.

OTOOH there's the idea that if the US satellites see them, they might just WARN the Iranians. This might very well make the attack much less damaging or even cause it to fail altogether, but probably would have neither effect. The US could then still claim neutrality. The Israelis might not like it but what are they going to do?

This is assuming the ISRAELIS don't warn the Iranians THEMSELVES, for humanitarian reasons.
