It may be a boring scandal, and frankly the dismissal of 8 US attorneys is not a huge deal. The problem for the Bush admin is they are so freakin arrogant they feel they can say anything and not get called on it. Had it been handled right to begin with this would be a non issue and the lawyers would still be gone. It's the arrogance that is under attack here, nothing else.

It's not the same thing as what's normally done (excluding klinton and any president who followed klinton's precedent) and what's normally done when a new Pres takes office is to start the process of asking the US attorneys for their resignations and/or firing them.

This is such a effing waste of time about nothing. The President has the right to fire any US attorney whenever he feels like it.
