He's a failure because he's not addressed the most basic aspect of national security: secure borders...
I agree that he's in bed with the Liberals on this, they all want open borders, but if Algore had won in 2000 we'd all either be dead, or enslaved by terrorists by now.

Some of his better ones: There are more Native Americans now that there were pre columbus (NOT True.. There were over 1 million Natives just on a single Caribbean Island when he came over), there is more forested land in America now than there was pre-Columbus (Ummm, No, about 25% is gone completely, and a large amount of what is left is new growth.), and that in ther 90's Kansas City had more people working for the government than in the private sector. (Which, btw, would reuire a greater than 50% tax rate.... It was actually closer to 5%.)

And, on the completely BFI side, "There's no such thing as an implied contract." (Radio; FRQ, Spring/93)

More recent...

And my personal favorite..
Limbaugh Outfoxed

Saying that AIDS didn't affect heterosexuals in 2004?
Saying minimum wage was 6-7 dollars an hour?
Saying there never was a surplus under Clinton?
Talking crap about troops who have lost limbs, calling them fake unless they agree with his insanity?
Saying that gas was $1.29 a gallon in 2004?

For your own sake please, wake up... Your blind obedience is somewhat disturbing, and it lessens the arguments of sane people who have conservative ideals.

I don't really care what your gut feeling is, from what I've seen he's the biggest "mainstream" liar this country has ever seen. He's so off the board he makes Michael Moore look (almost) sane, and that takes talent.

Oh, and believe it or not, those people don't want America to lose... They're afraid that after 60 years of squandering world opinion we've already lost. Big Frick Difference.
The links you provided are obvious mis quotes and mis characterizations of the things Rush says, they are from Liberal sources, and therefore are not credible.

I am awake, and people like me are what it's going to take to save the country. We need to enact the fair tax, and multiply the military so there will be no dispute of our power and place in the world. It was someone like me who ended the cold war. (because you probably have no idea what the cold war was, Ronald Reagan single handedly ended it.)

"If"... "if"...

The fact is that Gore didn't win; Bush did, and he's done absolutely nothing to secure our borders.

Justifying the state of our borders by saying how bad it could've been is no justification at all. It's nothing more than a pitifully weak argument, based on nothing other than blatant partisanship, to avoid the fact that Bush is a dismal, abject failure in addressing even the most basic aspects of our national security; that being border security...

Limbaugh's a fuckin' buffoon.

The only bigger buffoons are the people who swallow everything he says...

The line you pointed out is a restriction on the newly-allowed surveillance. The fact remains that it is an act that makes the government bigger and more powerful, taking away rights from citizens. The line you pointed out simply reduces that authoritarianism to a slightly lower level, but a reduction of rights it remains.

Perhaps it's time you started backing up such ugly allegations with some reliable evidence. What a disgusting remark to make about other citizens.

I think you're right. Otherwise, he'd have gleefully shared them with us, if they did, indeed, prove his as-yet unproven and ugly allegations.

Re: When will Gonzales resign?

I really don't think it matters whether Gonzalez stays or goes. If he stays, he will be an albatross around Bush's neck, which suits me fine. If he goes, Bush will just appoint another sleazebag.

Tom Delay was interviewed on NPR this morning and he actually called the Democrats "the enemy". These people are disgusting.

DeLay was on Meet the Press sunday... he called those in the house that oppose the Iraq war, unpatriotic. Including the retired Rear Admiral freshman Congressman he was sitting next to at the table. I marvelled at the will power Joe Sestek showed by not giving DeLay a swift back hand to the chops. Like DeLay was so patriotic when it was HIS turn to serve... yeah right...

Pathetic... Absolutely pathetic.

I thought republicans love those that make money... Are you saying you don't? That's refreshing.

Who will make more on the war? Good question. But I bet they will all be bush pals... His base will no longer be the Have Mores, they will be the have it alls...

Ronnie RayGun? OGG... you mean Ron "Iran-Contra, who needs the congress" Reagan? Or Ronnie "The S&L Crisis" Reagan? which one are you referring to?

The republicans have no one like him either, Todd. Not now, not in the future.

There was only ONE Ronnie RayGun...
