When state's such as Texas have programs such as this is it still necessary to bus kids? Is it possible that diversity can be found in areas other than race? People are much more than a skin color, would you agree?

BTW, I'd like to point out to Joao, that Texas is part of the South and we have programs in place such as Robin Hood. As backwards as we must be, how did we ever come up with such an idea when we have no sense of community.

This certainly seems a step in the right direction. Glad to hear of it.

Now, if more states would just get on board. I don't like the idea of kids sitting on a bus for two hours when there's a school two blocks away. . .

The 9th Ward is in New Orleans. I'm not.

Yep, I've been bitching about my new neighbors. Why? Because they came here from New Orleans and are trying to CHANGE my community into New Orleans North. Rather than respect our differences, they want US to change. That's not very neighborly of them, now is it?

I've never said that all cities were like mine. However, you said:

My city serves as an example that NOT all school fit your racial agenda.

I think I'm gonna drive over to Topeka tomorrow to visit the National Park Service site that commemorates this ruling before the SCOTUS has it shut down for no longer telling a relevant story.

Okay, more personal stories. I think a big red flag should spring up anytime an issue is discussed with one side constantly bringing out personal stories that seems to defy just about every existing statistic concerning the matter...

Well, it is now their town. If they live there, they should have the right to make their community into anything they like. The fucking universe doesn't rotate around your ass, shapely as it might be.

Did you READ the TONE of her posts that earned my remarks? I think her purported desire for respect on this board just evaporated. . .
